20th ANNIVERSARY OF THE ORGAN DEDICATION

Dr. JUNG-A LEE is an adjunct faculty member at Vanguard University and organist at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach.
The Artist
DR. JUNG-A LEE has performed in Europe, North America, and Asia as an organist, pianist, and conductor. She is Adjunct Professor at Vanguard University and is the Accompanist for the Men in Blaque vocal ensemble at UCI. Jung-A Lee earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Boston University, her Master of Music degree at Yale University, and Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Toronto. Dr. Lee is chairman and founder of Music Mission International, a nonprofit organization, which promotes the beauty of music through the organ.

The Organ
The organ at Trinity Lutheran, Manhattan Beach is a mechanical-action “tracker” instrument built by Dobson Pipe Organ Builders, Ltd. of Lake City, Iowa. The only other Dobson organ in the Southland is the magnificent instrument in the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, downtown. Among the world’s premier organ builders, Dobson recently built the organ for the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, home of the Philadelphia Orchestra .
